Small tricks for perfect manicure

Our nails and hands are the parts of the body that are constantly exposed to the environment threats. That’s why it’s not surprising that they need special care.

During the winter the cold and the wind make our skin dry which can lead to having problems with the cuticles and the nails. If we want to enjoy a beautiful manicure all year long we have to take special care for our hands. With these simple tricks your nails will always look great whether they are exposed to cold or heat.

Take advantage of the warm shower and clean your nails after that. You can even soak them for a while in warm water with a few drops of essential oils in it. Water and steam soften the cuticles and make it easy to clean the nail. Always push the cuticles back, never cut them.

Applying hydrating cream helps not only the hands but the surface of the nails as well. Don’t forget to use it every night however never before applying the nail varnish because it will affect the durability of the color.

If you don’t have enough time to make your manicure during the week, choose colors in the nude tones. That way the chipped places in the nail polish will not be so noticeable. A good trick for those moments is to use a glitter nail varnish. When part of the nail polish peels off cover it with some glitter using a small sponge or just apply it on the whole nail. This way you win a day before you have to change the nail varnish on all the fingers.

Get yourself a special oil for softening the cuticles. This oil will quickly turn in your irreplaceable ally during the cold days. If your hands are too dry your cuticles will need even more hydration.

Don’t forget to use a top nail varnish which will protect the color from peeling off and also will add extra shine to your manicure. You can apply an additional layer in the middle of the week that will make the color richer and prolong its durability.

Always wear a small file in your purse. You never know when you will break a finger nail and if you don’t file the broken place right away by the end of the day you can say goodbye to your perfectly kept manicure.
